THE QUOTES – DON VERLIN
"As they graded themselves after the game, I thought it was average," said head coach
Don Verlin. "I didn't think it was as good as it needed to be. But we did do some good things. We got some guys some minutes that needed to play. These games are valuable. People look at these games and ask 'what do they get out of that?' But it's another chance to get this team to play and play together.
"We know there are no more of these type of games on the schedule. The next five games are all tough games against good Division I basketball programs. But these games are beneficial to us."
