- The Vandals had a tough road weekend last week, falling to Big West preseason favorites Boise State and against Long Beach State at the Beach Classic hosted by LBSU.
- Mikayla Ferenz selected as Big Sky Co-Player of the Week after posting over 30 points per game over the weekend at the Beach Classic. Ferenz totaled 30 points, 28 of which came in the first half of play, versus BSU and 31 points against LBSU.
- Janie King is eighth in the nation in three-point field goal percentage averaging 59.1 percent on 13-21 shooting in five games.
- Idaho ranks second in all Division I in three-point field goal made per game averaging 12.2.
SCOUTING REPORT
- The Dons of the University of San Francisco (2-3) dropped Thanksgiving weekend contests at home, falling to fellow Big Sky member Northern Colorado on Friday and UT Arlington on Saturday.
- USF is averaging 69.6 points per game while allowing 73.8 points per game for opponents. The team is shooting 43.4 percent from the field, 36.1 percent from behind the arc and 70 percent from the charity stripe.
- Julia Nielacna and Shannon Powell are tied leading the team in scoring with 14.2 points per game while Powell also leads the team in rebounding with 6.4 boards per game.
COMING UP
Idaho will be back on the road as it begins a five-game stretch with its first stop at Hawaii to take on the Rainbow Wahine on Dec. 5.
