IRVINE, Calif. – Time for talk is over, with the 2018-19 Idaho men's basketball season set to start on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at UC Irvine.

NEW YEAR, NEW FACES: Idaho brings a fresh group of Vandals in 2018-19, after losing six seniors last year. The Vandals will lean on junior guard
Trevon Allen, as he takes over as the most veteran guard on the roster.
The roster features six freshmen, including three redshirts, and four sophomores.
SEASON-OPENING SUCCESS: Don Verlin and the Vandals have been strong on opening night since Verlin took over the program 10 years ago. In his 10 seasons at the helm, Verlin and the Vandals are 7-3 in season-openers.
LAST MEETING: Idaho took on UC Irvine in Boise last season, falling to the Anteaters, 67-59. Idaho is 5-15 all-time against UC Irvine.
