Chris King will bring you the action all season long on the Vandal Radio Network, starting approximately 30 minutes before tipoff every night.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals needed every second of overtime to defeat the top-seeded Griz of Montana, 79-77.  After taking a double-digit lead in the opening minutes, things leveled out from there with neither team able to take over.  Idaho was able to hold strong on the defensive end to close regulation, and kept the intensity up in the overtime frame.  After Montana was able to tie things up with 30 seconds to play, the Vandals had one last chance to end the game.

Idaho waited, giving Brayon Blake the ball with about 10 seconds to play.  The senior attacked the basket, maneuvering around Montana's center, Jamar Akoh, but his shot rimmed out with about one second to play.  Nate Sherwood didn't give up on the play, and found himself in the perfect position for the game-winning, buzzer-beating tip-in.

DOG DAYS OF FEBRUARY: Head coach Don Verlin has stressed the importance of games late in the season, saying the good teams step up in the "dog days of February."  His Vandals have stepped up, winning 73 percent of conference games (24-9) on or after February 1 since rejoining the Big Sky.  Idaho has been even more impressive at home, going 16-0 in Moscow over that stretch.

NOTES: Check the notes package, linked at the top of the article, for more notes and stats ahead of the game.
