LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals dominated the Hornets of Sacramento State, 81-58. The 23-point win was Idaho's largest conference road win since February 4, 2016, and gave Idaho six road conference wins for the first time since the Sweet 16 season of 1982.
Perrion Callandret had another tremendous night, finishing with a season-high 23 points off the bench.
LAST TIME VS: Idaho defeated EWU in Cheney in January, 58-51. The Eagles got up big early, but Idaho bounced back to make it a two-point game at the break. The Vandals kicked up the defensive intensity in the second, claiming a lead in the opening minutes that they would not give up.
Victor Sanders led the team with 18 points and nine rebounds.
CALLANDRET CARRIES THE BENCH: Since moving to the bench ahead of Idaho's game at Portland State last weekend, both Callandret and the bench as a whole have greatly improved. Callandret increased his scoring average from 9.5 points per game to 19.5 points per contest last weekend. As a unit, the Idaho bench jumped from 14.0 ppg to 32.5 ppg last weekend.
