MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field/Cross Country program is thrilled to announce the signing of Henrike Fiedler of Langenhangen, Germany. Fiedler is an outstanding long jumper and hurdler.
Fiedler has personal bests of 5.90m (19' 4.25") in the long jump and 14.87 seconds in the 100m hurdles. Her mark in the long jump would have been ranked sixth in the Big Sky Conference at the conclusion of the 2017 season.
She has placed high in several competitions in her country of Germany including placing first in the 100m hurdles in her federal state championship meet in 2017, second place in 100m hurdles and third place in the long jump at the Northern German Championships in 2017. Fiedler placed eighth in the long jump at the Junior German Championships in the 2017 season as well.
