Ledbetter Re-Signs with Mazatlan

Returns to Mexico after strong G League season

MAZATLAN, Mexico – Former Vandal standout Jeff Ledbetter has found a new home for the summer, rejoining Mazatlan in the CIBACOPA in Mexico.
 
Ledbetter played for Mazatlan last season as well.  He excelled with the club, averaging 20.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game in 16 appearances.  He was also outstanding during the 2016 season in Mexico, earning LatinBasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Defensive Player of the Year honors.
 
Most recently, Ledbetter competed for the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League.  He appeared in 44 games during the 2017-18 season, averaging 11.2 points, 2.5 boards and 3.8 assists per contest off the bench.
 
Ledbetter played two seasons for the Vandals and head coach Don Verlin.  He came on strong as a senior, averaging nearly 13 points per game and helping lead Idaho to the CIT.
