NABC RELEASE
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Soon-to-be senior,
Nate Sherwood, has been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as a member of the 2017-18 NABC Honors Court.
To qualify, student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and must have competed during the 2017-18 season. Student-athletes must also have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
Sherwood started 30 games in 2017-18, missing out only on senior night while the Vandals honored their class of six. He finished fourth on the team in scoring at 9.5 points per contest, and finished third on the squad at 4.7 rebounds per game. It is Sherwood's second consecutive season earning the award.
The Vandals had a great season overall, finishing with 22 wins, the most since 1993. Idaho went 14-4 in Big Sky play to earn the No. 2 seed in the BSC Tournament in Reno.
