MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team has its final tune-up before the regular season begins, as the Vandals host Lewis-Clark State College in an exhibition game on Tuesday, October 29. The game in Memorial Gym will tip off at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12.
Guard Trevon Allen will look to lead the squad, returning for his senior season after leading the Vandals in scoring (14.0 ppg) a year ago. Junior Scott Blakney also returns after tallying 7.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 2018-19.
Tuesday will be another chance for the large group of Vandal newcomers – a mix of freshmen and transfers – to learn how to play smoothly with each other.
The exhibition against the Warriors is the second and final preseason game for the Vandals. Idaho fell to Central Washington, 88-81, last week. Three Vandals scored in double figures, led by Allen's 24. Marquell Fraser chipped in 20 points, while Quinton Forrest had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The regular season begins at home against Evergreen State College on November 5. The Vandals will play 15 home contests this year, including the Battle of the Palouse which will be on Wednesday, December 4.
