CHENEY, Wash. – Idaho soccer fell on the road at Eastern Washington, 3-1, on Sunday afternoon. The loss drops Idaho to 3-9-1 overall, and 0-2-1 in Big Sky play. EWU moves to 4-5-2, and 1-0-1 in conference.
Eastern Washington's Mya Elder-Hammond got the scoring started in the 9
th minute off of a corner kick. The Eagles would double their advantage just before the break. Maddie Morgan scored from in front off of a cross from Brooke Dunbar to make it 2-0 at the half.
The Vandals would get one back in the 64
th minute.
Hadley Sbrega scored her first of the season after a great free kick from
Taylor Brust.
EWU added a brace in the 71
st, with Brittany Delridge scoring her first of the season.
EWU outshot Idaho 15-11.
Avrie Fox made five saves.
Juliana deTar led the team with four shots, including three on target.
