MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals are set to open Big Sky Conference play on Saturday at Idaho State in the ICCU Battle of the Domes. The game against the Bengals is scheduled to tipoff at 6 p.m. pacific time.

SCOUTING THE BENGALS (3-6): ISU finished its nonconference slate of games 3-6, falling in the final three games leading up to Saturday. Most recently, the Bengals lost, 77-66, to Pacific. In the game, Chier Maker led the squad with 17 points, while Jared Stutzman chipped in 13 points.

As a team, ISU scores 70.7 points per game. Tarik Cool leads the way, recording 14.4 ppg. Maker also averages double-figure scoring (12.6 ppg) while pulling down 5.4 rebounds per game, which is tied for the team lead.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals wrapped up nonconference play at South Dakota State, falling, 85-57. Trevon Allen tied his career high with 29 points, while Damen Thacker added 10 points.

SERIES HISTORY: Idaho leads the all-time series with Idaho State, 64-47, but the Bengals won both matchups last season.
