MOSCOW, Idaho— After posting two wins on the road this past week, Idaho senior guard Mikayla Ferenz captured her second Conference Player of the Week honor by College Sports Madness on Monday.
 
In the Vandals road sweep, Ferenz averaged 19.5 points, 35.5 minutes, 5.5 rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and two steals while shooting 36.1 percent from the field and 91.7 percent from the free-throw line.
 
Ferenz's solid performance last week puts her only 15 points away from breaking the all-time scoring record (2,140) at the U of I. She is the second Vandal in Idaho women's basketball history to enter into the 2,000- point club. The Walla Walla, Wash. native currently ranks as No. 8 in the nation among Division I players.
