SPOKANE, Wash. – Idaho closed out competition at the Sam Adams Classic on Friday, with eight individual wins and a relay victory.

Kaleala Bass won the 400-meters with a time of 57.06 seconds, setting a new personal best and moving into third in the Big Sky in the event. She also won the 200-meters with a time of 25.97 seconds.Â

Idaho took the top three spots in the 1500-meters, led by
Kara Story. Story won the event with a time of 4:33.03, with teammate
Andrea Condie close behind in second at 4:33.88.Â
Malaina Thacker placed third in 4:34.38. All three move into the top-five in the Big Sky in the event.

Jordyn Rauer won the triple jump at 11.51 meters (37-9.50). Greta Kuhne took third with a leap of 11.13 meters (36-6.25).Â
Aaryanna Kurucz won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.56.

Anna Pecha placed second overall in the 800-meters and moved into sixth in the Big Sky in the event with a time of 2:20.61.Â
Henrike Fiedler earned second in the long jump with a leap of 5.86 meters (19-2.75).Â
Rechelle Meade took third at 5.70 meters (18-8.50).

Hannah Ringel placed second in the shot put and moved into second in the Big Sky standings in the event with a throw of 14.47 meters (47-5.75).

The 4x400-meter relay team of
Lauren Paven, Kurucz, Bass and Pecha won the event with a time of 4:07.28.

On the men's side,
Mack Baxter won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.09, the fastest time in the Big Sky this season by more than a second.

Jonny Magee won the triple jump with a leap of 13.97 meters (45-10.00).Â
Zachary Short won the discus at 51.78 meters (169-10), a personal best and the second best throw in the Big Sky this season.

Ben Shaw placed second in the 1500-meters with a time of 3:56.75.Â
