MATCHUP: Idaho (5-25, 2-17 BSC) is 64-46 all-time against Idaho State (10-18, 6-13 BSC). Earlier this season, the Bengals got the best of the Vandals in the Big Sky opener in Moscow, with Idaho falling 72-55.
Cameron Tyson led the way that night with 19 points.
TYSON MOVING UP THE RANKINGS: Cameron Tyson has been other-worldly for the Vandals this season. He smashed the Idaho freshman records for scoring and 3-pointers, and broke the Big Sky record for 3-pointers by a freshman last week, passing Tyler Hall of Montana State. His 100 3-pointers are the 17
th most in a single-season in Big Sky history, and on Thursday he became just the third Vandal in program history to make 100 3's. The top-10 for freshman 3's in NCAA history is also within reach for Tyson, who will likely need nine more to earn his spot in the record books.
BIG SKY IN BOISE: The Big Sky Championship presented by My Place Hotels gets started on Wednesday, March 13, at CenturyLink Arena in Boise. The Vandals will be playing at 2:30 p.m. Mountain on March 13.
