OGDEN, Utah – Idaho football will be featured in the ROOT SPORTS Game of the Week three times next season, the Big Sky Conference announced Friday, in conjunction with the network. The league announced a full slate of 10 games to be televised on ROOT SPORTS during the 2019 football season, including Idaho's home games against Eastern Washington (Sept. 21) and Idaho State (Oct. 19), as well as the Vandals' date with Montana (Nov. 9) in Missoula. Kickoff times will be announced at a later date.
 
"This is great for the Big Sky as we are excited to continue our partnership with ROOT SPORTS," said Big Sky Conference commissioner Tom Wistrcill. "Our relationship enables us to elevate our league and bring us exposure on a larger scale. ROOT SPORTS produces award-winning broadcasts and we are happy to have our games featured weekly."
 
Last season, in its return to the Big Sky, Idaho was featured in the ROOT SPORTS Game of the Week three times. This year, the Vandals' three appearances on ROOT SPORTS are tied with Eastern Washington for the second most. Montana leads the league with six games selected for broadcast on the conference's premier television partner.
 
This marks the eighth year of a partnership between ROOT SPORTS and the Big Sky Conference. All 10 Big Sky Conference football games will be produced and televised in high-definition, with many of the games available in both the Northwest region on ROOT SPORTS and in the Rocky Mountain regions on AT&T SportsNet.
 
ROOT SPORTS is expected to announce its game times this summer. No other conference games can kick off 45 minutes before or after the start of a ROOT SPORTS game. Last season, kickoff times were finalized and announced Aug. 15.
