RESULTS
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Competition began on Friday at the OSU High Performance Meet, with a handful of field events and the majority of the distance events taking place.

Malaina Thacker took second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 10:32.96. The time is the third best in the Big Sky this season, eighth best in program history, and moves Thacker into 44
th in the West in the event.Â
Nathalia Campos placed fifth in the event at 10:56.46, and now ranks just outside the top-10 in the Big Sky. Campos is also just outside the top-10 in program history in 11
th.

Chloe Woest picked up a third place finish in the pole vault, clearing 3.70 meters (12-1.50) to set a new personal best. Woest is currently ranked fifth in the Big Sky in the event, and moves up to fifth in program history in the event.Â
Zachary Short also earned a bronze, finishing third in the discus with a throw of 51.65 meters (169-5). Short is ranked third in the Big Sky in the event.

Andrea Condie finished third overall in the 5000-meter invitational at 16:35.37, running the event for the first time this outdoor season. The time ranks Condie sixth in the Big Sky.Â
Kara Story took fourth, running a career-best time of 16:50.30. Story moves into the top-10 in the conference in the event, and jumps to ninth in Idaho history.

Krista Story ran her fastest 1500-meter time of the year to win her heat in 4:33.67.Â
Erica Pecha won her heat at 4:50.62.
