@VandalsSoccer Announces Fall Schedule

SCHEDULE | SCHEDULE (PDF)

MOSCOW, Idaho –
Idaho soccer and head coach Jeremy Clevenger are excited to announce the full 2019 fall schedule.  The Vandals will play 19 regular season matches in 2019, including 10 in the friendly confines of the Kibbie Dome.

All regular season home games, as well as all Big Sky games, will be streamed live on the PlutoTV app and at WatchBigSky.com.  More information on the streaming of other road contests will be available as the games get closer.  Current home game kickoff times are available, but are subject to change.

Your first chance to catch the Vandals will be in an exhibition on Sunday, August 11, with the University of Fraser Valley coming to Moscow.

The regular season kicks off on Friday, Aug. 23, with in-state rival Boise State in the Dome.  Last time the Broncos came north, the Vandals packed the Dome with 4,171 fans for one of the most exciting games in program history.  The squad hits the road for a quick trip to CSU Bakersfield the following Sunday.

Four more home games come next, beginning with Oregon Tech on Friday, Aug. 30.  Another marquee matchup is next, with Southeastern Conference foe and 2018 Women's College Cup participant, Mississippi State, in the Dome on Sunday, Sept. 1.  It is the first time that Idaho soccer will play an SEC opponent, and just the second SEC opponent to come to Moscow across all team sports.  Seattle U. (Sept. 6) and UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 8) follow in the Kibbie Dome.

A tough road trip to California follows.  The Vandals will first take on UC Riverside before traveling to Cal Baptist.  The final non-conference road game of the season comes the following Thursday, at Oregon State.  Idaho hosts North Dakota on Sunday, Sept. 29 to close non-conference play.

The Big Sky season begins with defending tournament champions, Montana, in the Dome on Sept. 27.  The Vandals will host Northern Colorado on Sunday, Sept. 29.

The Vandals hit the road for Eastern Washington on Sunday, Oct. 6.  The EWU matchup has been tremendous since the Vandals joined the Big Sky ahead of the 2014 season.  In eight meetings, Idaho is 3-4-1 during that stretch, but 3-1-1 in Big Sky regular season matchups.  Idaho will then travel to Weber State (Oct. 11) and Idaho State (Oct. 13).

Idaho hosts NAU (Oct. 18) and Southern Utah (Oct. 20) to round out the home schedule.  The regular season comes to a close at Sacramento State (Oct. 25) and Portland State (Oct. 27).

The 2019 Big Sky Tournament will take place in Greeley, Colo., Nov. 6-10.  The top six seeds will advance to Greeley, with the top two seeds earning first round byes.

Last year, the Vandals finished at 9-7-3 under first year head coach, Clevenger.  Idaho went 6-1-2 in Big Sky play to finish second in the regular season standings.  The Vandals also posted a record of 6-0-1 in home contests, conceding just one goal on a penalty kick all home season.
