MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho football standouts
Noah Johnson and
Cade Coffey added more preseason accolades to their names as STATS LLC chose the Vandal duo to its preseason All-America teams Tuesday. Johnson was selected to the first-team offensive line, while Coffey was tabbed as the second-team punter.
Â
Coffey was named a second-team All-American by STATS last season, one of his three All-America awards as a sophomore to go with first-team All-Big Sky honors.
Â
This is Johnson's third preseason All-America selection headed into his senior year, earning a spot on the first team from Athlon Sports and HERO Sports before the honor from STATS.
Â
Johnson and Coffey were each named to the All-Big Sky Preseason Team earlier this month. The pair were both unanimous selections on the team, two of just three in the conference.
Â
The Big Sky was represented by 13 student-athletes on the STATS Preseason All-America Teams.
