Idaho football opens its 2019 home slate Saturday, against Central Washington. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. PT at the Kibbie Dome. It is the first all-time meeting between the programs on the football field.

TICKETS: Tickets for Saturday's game start at $10 and can be purchased by visiting GoVandals.com/tickets, calling 208-885-6466 or stopping by the Idaho Athletic Ticket Office. Ticket prices will increase by $2 on game day. Season tickets and three-game mini plans are also available through the ticket office.

MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY: Saturday is Military Appreciation Day at the Kibbie Dome. All past and present military members and first responders will receive free general admission tickets with valid ID or in uniform. Military vehicles will be on display outside the Kibbie Dome and Mission 43 will host a moving tribute to honor those fallen of Sept. 11, 2001, throughout the day in Moscow.

FREE T-SHIRTS: The first 4,500 fans in attendance Saturday will receive free Vandal T-Shirts courtesy of Idaho Central Credit Union.

VANDAL TAILGATE: Back for its second season, the Vandal Tailgate returns as the official pregame destination. The party will start three hours prior to kickoff in the West Kibbie Dome parking lot, just beyond the RV spaces. The offerings will include local food vendors, music, performances by the spirit squad and Vandal Marching Band, games for kids and much more. Fans are once again welcome to bring their own beverages, as long as they are held in an opaque container that is not labeled or branded by an alcohol manufacturer or distributor and remains in one of four designated university parking lots on the west end, including the lot where the Vandal Tailgate is located.

PARKING CHANGES: Game day parking for Idaho football underwent a restructuring during the offseason. Information was included with season ticket mailings and is available at GoVandals.com/FBparking, including an updated map and construction routes.

WATCH: The game will be streamed live on Pluto TV channel 542 and the Watch Big Sky platform. Links to the stream can be found above and on the football schedule page at GoVandals.com.

LISTEN: Dennis Patchin is in his fifth season as the radio voice of the Vandals. Patchin will call play-by-play alongside Vandal legend Ryan Phillips, who will provide color commentary. Their pregame show begins an hour before kickoff. The game can be heard on the Vandal Radio Network and online at GoVandals.com. Find stations on the network HERE.

ABOUT IDAHO: The Vandals are coming off a season-opening loss at No. 15/14 Penn State, in which 21 newcomers made their Idaho debuts. The Vandals return 14 starters from the 2018 season, including eight on offense - led by wide receiver duo Jeff Cotton and Cutrell Haywood. Cotton led Idaho's offense at Penn State, with 83 yards on six catches.

ABOUT CENTRAL WASHINGTON: First-year head coach Chris Fisk takes over the Wildcats after serving as their co-offensive coordinator the last three seasons, helping CWU post a 26-7 record, claim two conference titles and make one trip to the NCAA Division II Playoffs. The Wildcats are led by returning 1,000-yard rusher Michael Roots, who paced an offense that averaged 47.7 points and 540.9 yards per game a year ago. Saturday is CWU's season opener.

HOME OPENERS: Idaho has won its last three home openers and is 29-11 all-time in home openers played at the Kibbie Dome. The Vandals won 19 out of 20 home openers from 1979-1998. They also enjoyed a five-year win streak in home openers from 2006-10. The current three-year win streak comes on the heels of a five-year skid.

DOME SWEET DOME: Idaho finished its 2018 home slate with a 4-1 record. It matches the 2016 squad's 4-1 mark for the best home winning percentage since 1996 when the Vandals went 5-0 in the Dome - their last year without a home loss. Idaho football has recorded six unbeaten home seasons since the Kibbie Dome opened in 1975 (1976, 1982, 1988, 1994, 1995 and 1996).
