MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho soccer suffered a 3-0 defeat to Seattle U on Friday night in the Kibbie Dome. The loss drops the Vandals to 2-3-0 on the season, while Seattle U moves to 3-1-1.
The Vandals controlled the game for the opening 10 minutes, but a mix up on the back line in the 12
th minute led to the first Redhawk goal. Seattle U's Jessie Ray doubled the advantage with her second of the night in the 33
rd minute, firing from long range.
The Redhawks added their third in the 41
st minute. Rakel Leosdottir got the goal off of a corner kick, taken by Michele Adam. Seattle U outshot Idaho 13-8.
Next up, Idaho hosts UC Santa Barbara at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Kibbie Dome.
