NEWBERG, Ore. – Idaho swim and dive put together a dominant performance on Saturday, taking down George Fox in a dual meet. In the end, the Vandals won 13 of 14 events.

Aimee Iwamoto was part of four wins on Saturday, including two individual titles. She won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:07.13, then took the 200-breast in 2:25.10. Iwamoto joined
Katie Hale,
Rylie Jones and
Natalie Crocker to win the 200-yard medley in 1:48.26. She was also part of the 200-yard freestyle relay, with Crocker,
Cassie Dallas and
Alexa Teneyck, that won with a time of 1:42.07.

Hale, Jones and Teneyck also added individual wins on the day. Hale won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.48 seconds. Jones dominated the 200-yard IM to win in 2:12.72, and Teneyck won the 1650-yard freestyle in 18:03.82.

Kaling Phung won a pair of events on the day. She won the 100-yard backstroke in 57.79 seconds, the only student-athlete to finish in under one minute. Phung also won the 100-yard freestyle in 54.45 seconds.

Haylee Buyers earned two wins as well. She first won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:10.38, then came back to win the 100-yard butterfly in 1:00.70.

Brianna Lucien and
Alexis Schmidt each picked up wins. Lucien won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.90 and Schmidt took the victory in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:09.96.
