MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals are set to host Montana State on Thursday evening in the Cowan Spectrum. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS (8-7): Montana State has opened the BSC schedule, 2-2. The team started with wins over Sacramento State and Northern Arizona before falling to Northern Colorado and Southern Utah.

Most recently, the Bobcats fell, 59-53, to SUU. They were led by Harald Frey who scored 14 points. Amin Adamu tallied 12 points and nine rebounds in the loss.

As a team, MSU scores 67.3 ppg, led by Frey who averages 16.5 ppg. He was named BSC Player of the Week on November 19.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals earned their first conference victory when they they defeated Portland State, 72-61. Idaho held a four-point halftime lead, and withstood a Viking run early in the second half to take the home victory. Trevon Allen led Idaho with 20 points while Scott Blakney chipped in 13.

SERIES HISTORY: Montana State leads the all-time series, 65-51, over Idaho. The two teams met in the BSC Tournament last season with the Bobcats moving on.

CHASING 1000: Trevon Allen currently sits at 979 career points. If he reaches the century mark, he will be the first Vandal to do so since Victor Sanders, who finished with 1,804 points in his career from 2014-18.
