MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho men's golf is happy to announce the signing of Tommy McKenzie. McKenzie will join the program in the fall of 2021.

David Nuhn. "He is one of the top junior players in Canada, and we've had a long history here at Idaho of success with players from our neighbors to the north. Tommy is exceptional in the classroom, self-dedicated and a young man I believe will easily excel in our improved team culture. These guys love to push each other to work harder each day, and I know Tommy will not want to be out worked. Welcome to the Vandals, Tommy!"
McKenzie hails from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he plays out of Priddis Greens Golf Club. A tremendous student, he currently boasts a cumulative 3.8 grade-point average at Bishop Carroll High School. McKenzie intends to study biochemistry at Idaho.
Most recently, McKenzie finished second at the 2020 Alberta Men's Match Play. He also took second at the 2019 Golf Canada U17 Championships and was ranked 17
th in 2019 Canadian Junior Order of Merit. McKenzie won the 2019 Golf Canada Western Canadian U19 Championship and the 2019 Alberta U17 Championship.
McKenzie competed in a number of different sports throughout his life, including playing on the varsity basketball team at Bishop Carroll. He has also competed in skiing, boxing, hockey and baseball.
