THE QUOTES Head Coach Jon Newlee
"They are number six in the country for a reason. They are very athletic and on film you don't really get to see what they have. They are very similar to Texas. I thought we would have competed better like the second half at Texas so that's what disappoints me. I think we had some people that didn't quite show up today and that's disappointing to me. At the the same token it's a quick turnaround we had some kids play 40 minutes at Seattle U and we didn't come just quite ready to go."
"I thought Hailey played well and was attacking. Gina in the second half was Gina and I thought she did a great job of getting after it. I thought Chayse in her minutes played hard and brought some energy. We had a couple threes go in and out early and it took away some of our spark, and it's hard to get it back against a team like that you get in a hole and they get rolling. The offensive rebounding was different, we got the shots we wanted but they just out muscled us inside. Welcome to the top 10 in basketball but that's why we schedule those games and we are ready to get things started in the Big Sky after Christmas."
"Now we have to get ready to a go for tough and grueling Big Sky season and hopefully we can get all the games in."
