Idaho Set to Host Northern Arizona

MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals begin a two-game homestand on Thursday when they host Northern Arizona in Cowan Spectrum. The game is set to tipoff at 6:35 p.m.

SCOUTING THE LUMBERJACKS (14-10, 8-7 BSC): NAU is 2-3 in their last five games.

Most recently, the Jacks defeated Southern Utah, 82-69, at home. In the game, NAU was led by Cameron Shelton who had 26 points and Brooks DeBisschop who put up a double double, recording 21 points and 11 rebounds.

As a team this season, the Lumberjacks average 72.4 ppg. Shelton leads the squad with 14.2 points per game, while DeBisschop pulls down a team-high 7.8 rpg while scoring 12.1 ppg.

SCOUTING THE VANDALS (7-18, 3-11 BSC): Idaho is led by Trevon Allen who scores 21.2 ppg, which is second most in the Big Sky and 15th in the country. Quinton Forrest leads the Vandals in rebounding, pulling down 6.0 boards per game.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals fell to Portland State on the road, 90-69. Allen led the team with 16 points while Damen Thacker chipped in 11.

SERIES HISTORY: Idaho leads the all-time series with NAU, 43-23. The Jacks took the first meeting this season, 77-72. Allen (26), Marquell Fraser (13), and Scott Blakney (11) all scored in double figures in the game.

EDUCATOR APPRECIATION NIGHT: Thursday is Educator Appreciation Night. Hear from Scott Blakney, Trevon Allen, Damen Thacker, and Gabe Quinnett about teachers they had growing up.

1000 POINT CLUB: Trevon Allen joined the 1000 point club with a three-pointer against Eastern Washington (Jan. 17). The senior is the 17th Vandal in school history to reach the benchmark. Allen now sits at 1236 career points, which is 11th in school history.
