MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals welcome Sacramento State into Cowan Spectrum on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. as the Vandals look to make it a season sweep of the Hornets.

SCOUTING THE HORNETS (13-12, 6-10 BSC): Since falling to Idaho earlier in the season, Sacramento State is 2-3. The team enters Saturday on a two-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Hornets was edged by EWU, 77-76. In the loss, Izayah Mauriohooho-Le'afa led SAC with 23 points, while three other Hornets reached double figures.

As a team, the squad is averaging a league-worst 61.7 ppg, but allow a league-best 59.0 ppg. Joshua Patton is the leading scorer and rebounder for the team, averaging 12.2 ppg and 5.4 rpg.

SCOUTING THE VANDALS (7-19, 3-12 BSC): Idaho is led by Trevon Allen who scores 20.6 ppg, which is second most in the Big Sky and 19th in the country. Quinton Forrest leads the Vandals in rebounding, pulling down 5.8 boards per game.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals fell to Northern Arizona, 78-61. Gabe Quinnett led the team with 14 points, tying a career-high.

SERIES HISTORY: Idaho leads the all-time series with Sacramento State, 19-5. The Vandals have won the last two meetings, including a 67-53 victory earlier this season. In that game, Allen led Idaho with 27 points and eight rebounds.

1000 POINT CLUB: Trevon Allen joined the 1000 point club with a three-pointer against Eastern Washington (Jan. 17). The senior is the 17th Vandal in school history to reach the benchmark. Allen now sits at 1243 career points, which is 11th in school history.
