MOSCOW, Idaho – The 2020 Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships are here, with 21 Vandals currently ranked in the top-10 in the conference in their respective events.

Zachary Short – Short, who currently holds the Big Sky Conference record in the shot put, is the two-time defending champion in the event. He enters this year's competition with the best mark of the year, heaving it 19.49m/63'11.5" at the Idaho Team Challenge.
Ben Doucette – Doucette enters the weekend with the best time in the 60m hurdles after running 7.90 at the Idaho Open. He also is seventh in the 200m (21.88).
Dean Ellenwood – Ellenwood has the fastest time in the men's 800 meters in the Big Sky this year. He won the event at the Idaho Team Challenge in 1:51.76.
Rechelle Meade – The defending long jump champ, Meade enters this year's competition with the best mark of the season. She leapt 6.12m/20'1" at the Vandal Open.
Spencer Barrera – Barrera ran the 400-meter dash in 48.49 at the Idaho Team Challenge to rank third in the Big Sky Conference.
Krista Story – Story is third in the 800m this year after running the race in 2:13.02 at the UW Invitational.
Anna Pecha – Pecha is eighth in the Big Sky in the 800m this year (2:13.83).
Malaina Thacker – Thacker is the third Vandal in the top-10 for the 800-meters. She is eighth with a time of 2:14.73 that she ran at the Idaho Team Challenge. Thacker is also fifth in the women's mile (4:52.65).
Maizy Brewer – Brewer ran the women's 5k in 18:26.96 at the Boise State Challenge and ranks eighth in the conference.
Britt Ipsen – Ipsen has the seventh best mark in the Big Sky in the high jump (2.00m/6'6.75").
Julia Hayes – Hayes' season best mark of 1.68m/5'6" in the high jump put her seventh on the BSC performance list.
Zach Nunis – Nunis enters the weekend third in the long jump (7.42m/24'4.25") and fourth in the triple jump (14.67m/48'1.75").
Jordyn Rauer – Rauer is tied for the second-best distance in the triple jump this season. Her mark of 12.21m/40'0.75" happened at the Idaho Team Challenge. Rauer is also fifth on the performance list for the long jump (5.62m/18'5.25").
Karina Moreland – Moreland is tied for second on the BSC performance list for the triple jump (12.21m/40'0.75").
Tayler LyDay – LyDay is the third Vandal to appear in the top-10 of the triple jump. She enters the weekend fourth with a jump of 12.10m/39'8.5".  Â
Grady Leonard – Leonard is second in the shot put with a heave of 18.27m/59'11.25". He is also sixth in the men's weight throw (18.56m/60'10.75").
Hannah Ringel – Ringel enters the Big Sky Championship with the second- best shot put of the season. She recorded a mark of 14.79m/48'6.25" at the UW Invitational.
Cullen Williams – Williams sits third in the weight throw entering this weekend. His season's best mark of 19.26m/63'2.25" occurred at the Idaho Team Challenge.
4x400 Relay Team – Both the Vandal's 4x400 teams are in the top-10. The men sit in fourth (3:18.21), while the women are ninth (3:59.09).
Women's DMR Team – The distance medley relay team has the third best time this season (12:15.04).
