BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Idaho men's basketball team fell, 72-50, to Montana State on Thursday evening. The Vandals (6-16, 2-9 BSC) and Bobcats (12-10, 6-5 BSC) were tied at halftime, but the home side exploded in the second half to secure the win.
THE GAME
With the game tied, 7-7, Idaho went on a 7-0 run. The Vandals continued to keep the Bobcats at arm's length, but eventually the home side fought back and tied it back up, 30-30, with four minutes remaining until the break. The two teams entered halftime tied 32-32.

Idaho scored the first four points of the second half, but the Bobcats outscored the Vandals, 40-18, in the final 20 minutes. The home side shot 68.0 percent in the period, including a 5-for-8 clip from beyond the arc en route to the conference victory.

Trevon Allen led the Vandals with 19 points.
Damen Thacker chipped in 10 points, while
Quinton Forrest pulled down five rebounds.

Allen now has 1152 career points. He moved into 13th place on the Vandals' All-Time Scoring List.

MSU outrebounded Idaho, 39-20, in the game. The Bobcats had 10 offensive boards leading to eight second chance points.

Trevon Allen. Allen scored 19 points to lead the Vandals. The senior led the squad in scoring for the 18th time this season. He made three three-pointers and added two rebounds and three steals.
