Vandal Scholarship Fund Events One Month Away

REGISTER - JULY 9 | REGISTER - JULY 10

MOSCOW, Idaho –
The Western Treasure Valley and the Canyon County chapters of the Vandal Scholarship Fund (VSF) invite you to participate in back-to-back days of Idaho Athletics events, starting July 9.
 
Join Director of Athletics Terry Gawlik, Associate Athletic Director for Development Mahmood Sheikh, Head Men's Basketball Coach Zac Claus, Head Women's Golf Coach Lisa Ferrero and Associate Development Director Desmond Banks in Weiser on July 9 and Nampa on July 10.  This will be a great time to reconnect with fellow Vandals, network and have fun in a relaxing atmosphere while at the same time raising money in support of the University of Idaho's more than 300 student-athletes.
 
"Our staff and chapter leaders have been working together to find the best and safest ways to host these events," said Sheikh.  "We're grateful for the resources provided by corporate sponsors and from our volunteers to get back up and running."
 
The VSF Western Treasure Valley Gathering will take place on Thursday, July 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Farms in Weiser.  Registration is $25 and includes food.  For more information, contact Margaret Chipman at 208-550-0605.
 
The 2020 Canyon County VSF Vandal Scramble takes place the following day at Centennial Golf Course in Nampa.  Registration opens at 11:30 a.m., with the shotgun start scheduled for 1 p.m.  Dinner at 5:30 p.m. caps off a tremendous day.  Registration for the scramble is $100 per person and includes dinner.  Register early, as the total number of teams will be capped at 30 this year.  For more information, contact Scott Gipson at 208-989-5822.
