FARMINGTON, Utah – The Big Sky Conference has announced the 2020 Volleyball Conference schedule this morning featuring a 16-game slate, two games fewer than last year's 18 game schedules. In addition to two fewer games, each Big Sky team will play eight different opponents in back-to-back games. The Vandals will play four opponents at home and four on the road over an eight-week span from September 24
th to November 20
th. The games each week will take place on back-to-back days against the same opponent on either Thursday and Friday, or Friday and Saturday.
The Vandals will face Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, Montana State, and Northern Colorado at home while traveling to Idaho State, Sacramento State, Montana, and Eastern Washington. Idaho will open conference play against Southern Utah in Memorial Gym on Friday October 2
nd and will face the Thunderbirds again on Saturday October 3
rd. The 2020 regular season concludes in Moscow on Thursday November 19
th and Friday November 20
th against the defending champion Northern Colorado Bears.
The postseason tournament will look different this year for the Big Sky as only the top four teams will advance. The tournament will be held on November 24
th and 25
th in Greeley, Colorado, hosted by the University of Northern Colorado.
Season ticket renewals will begin on June 15
th with season tickets going on sale June 22
nd at 9 a.m. Single game tickets can be purchased beginning July 13
