MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Idaho volleyball team (3-10) fell in five sets to Sacramento State (7-7) on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gym.

Redshirt sophomore Travel Morris had herself another efficient day on the attack, totaling 11 kills on a .381 hitting percentage. Delaney Nicoll also put up a double-digit kill effort with 15, while also getting it done on the defensive end with 16 digs.

Idaho used stellar defensive play and a 5-0 run to help earn a 25-22 win to begin the match.

Momentum carried over into the second set with a 4-0 run to get started that was highlighted by back-to-back kills from Nicoll. The Hornets would fight their way back to even the score at 19 all and ultimately take a 23-21 lead to put Idaho on the ropes. An attack error, service ace, and two kills would help pull off the comeback for the Vandals, 25-23.

The Hornets answered with back-to-back wins (25-17, 27-25) to even things up and force a fifth set.

The final set of the day would begin with a back-and-forth affair that included six lead changes.
