MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho football hosts Northern Arizona Saturday at the Kibbie Dome. The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast live on SWX and streamed on ESPN+.
1. THE GAME: Idaho hosts Northern Arizona Saturday afternoon at the Kibbie Dome. The Vandals are 17-5 all-time against the Lumberjacks but are 1-1 since Idaho's 2018 return to the Big Sky. The Vandals are 2-5 on the season and 1-3 in Big Sky action while NAU is 3-4 and 2-2 in league play.Â
2. ABOUT IDAHO: The Vandals hope to get back in the win column after dropping back-to-back games to top-15 opponents. All of Idaho's losses have been to team ranked in the top-15 or to Power-Five teams. The Vandals continue to bring a duo at quarterback.

Gevani McCoy appears to be finding his feet after throwing his first-career TD on Saturday. Â

3. ABOUT NAU: The Lumberjacks have also hit a tough schedule, three of NAU's four losses came against ranked foes. The Lumberjacks also picked up an impressive win over Arizona in Tucson in mid-September. Â Head coach Chris Ball is no stranger to the Palouse after three separate stints as an assistant at Washington State. RJ Martinez leads NAU with 1218 yards passing while Jeff Widener has 530. Freshman running back Kevin Daniels leads the rushing attack with 586 total yards, including a 229-yard outburst against Southern Utah. Three receivers have recorded at least 400 receiving yards.
4. TRE WALKER: Fourth-year linebacker
Tre Walker continues to prove why he's one of the best in the Big Sky. Walker has tallied double-digit tackles three times this fall. In the spring season, he led the conference with 13.5 tackles per game in his four outings and went on to earn five All-America honors. Walker was also a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given annually to the top defensive player in FCS. His preseason accolades got better, as he was named the Big Sky Conference Preseason MVP and has been a consistent First Team Preseason All-America selection.Â
5. BREAKOUT GAME: Against UC Davis, Freshman running back
Elisha Cummings notched 125 yards receiving on 15 carries, a season-high for any Vandal rusher. He had carries of 19 yards, 32 yards and 24 yards. Transfer receiver
Terez Traynor racked up 131 yards on 10 catches. His catches included a 28-yard reception and a highlight sideline grab for a first down late in the game. Traynor grabbed hit the century mark again with 114 yards on five catches against Portland State. Â

CJ Jordan both missed the EWU game with injuries have missed the last three games with injuries leading
Zach Borisch to get the starts. The rushing specialist has scored four TDs in his last four games. He had a career-long 75-yard score in the first quarter against Eastern Washington. True freshman
Gevani McCoy has stepped in to spell Borisch and threw his first collegiate touchdown in the fourth quarter against Montana.
