MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals (1-1) make their first road trip of the season when they travel to Fresno to face the Fresno State Bulldogs on Monday night inside Save Mart Center. The game is scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m.
The Vandals return to the floor after earning their first win of the season against George Fox (95-85).
Trevante Anderson was the leading scorer for the second consecutive game with 22 points. Five other Vandals scored in double digits including
Nolan Bertain (18),
Mikey Dixon (16),
Philip Pepple Jr. (13),
Yusef Salih (11) and
JeMeil King (11).
The 89 and 95 point performances from the Vandals over the past week marked the first time an Idaho team had scored 89-plus points in the first two games of the regular season since the 1981-82 Sweet-16 team.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS (2-0): Fresno State opened the season with a pair of victories over Fresno Pacific (74-54) and LIU (84-60).
In their most recent win over LIU, four Bulldogs scored in double figures, led by junior Orlando Robinsons' 17 points and 18 rebounds.
The Bulldog offense returns all three of its double-digit scorers from a year ago - Orlando Robinson (14.6 ppg), Deon Stroud(12.2 ppg) and Isaiah Hill (10.3 ppg).
SERIES HISTORY: Idaho owns a 10-7 all-time series lead over Fresno State. The two programs squared off in the Western Athletic Conference twice a year between 2006-2012 before Fresno State joined the Mountain West. They last met on February 2, 2012, when the Bulldogs defeated the Vandals 65-55 in Fresno.
3PT SUCCESS: The Vandals are shooting 50 percent from behind the arc after going 24-for-48 in the opening two games of the season. That mark has Idaho ranked first in the Big Sky and tied for fifth in the nation.
INSTANT IMPACT: Junior
Trevante Anderson showed out in his first appearances as a Vandal, dropping 26 points against Long Beach State and 22 points versus George Fox. The native of Tacoma, Washington was also instrumental in setting up his teammates as he totaled 15 assists. After the first week of play, Anderson sits atop the Big Sky in points per game (24) and assists (7.5).
MAN IN THE MIDDLE: Transfer
Philip Pepple Jr. has made an immediate impact for the Vandals since making his way from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. He recorded two double-figure scoring performances to start the season, shooting an efficient 10-for-14 from the field. He is averaging 11.5 points and seven boards per game.
Following a matchup with the Bulldogs, the Vandals will head back to Moscow to face rival Washington State on Thursday, November 18 at 6 p.m.
