The Stage is Set for the ICCU Battle of the Domes

MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho football travels to Pocatello to face Idaho State in the ICCU Battle of the Domes. The game is slated for at 12 p.m. Pacific kickoff and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

1. THE GAME: The Vandals face Idaho State in the ICCU Battle of the Domes. It is the 42nd meeting in the rivalry that dates back to 1929. Idaho leads the series 28-13, but the Bengals have won two of the last three games. The game is the last of the season for both teams. 

2. ABOUT IDAHO: The Vandals are coming off a hard-fought 20-13 road loss at Montana State. Zach Borisch will be the signal-caller for the Vandals. He leads Idaho in rushing this season with 438 net yards on 99 carries. Terez Traynor is the Vandals' leading receiver with 679 yards. Roshaun Johnson is the leading running back with 415 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the year. All-American Tre Walker leads the Vandal defense with 100 total tackles. Charles Akaano is the sack leader with seven sacks and 13 tackles for loss. 

3. ABOUT IDAHO STATE: Idaho State is coming off of a 32-29 road loss to Cal Poly and are 1-9 on the year with the win coming against UC Davis. Hunter Hays leads Idaho State with988 yards passing and six touchdowns so far this season. Tyevin Ford leads the Bengals with 491 net yards and four touchdowns. Tanner Conner lead ISu with 654 yards and four TDs. On the defensive side, Darian Green leads Idaho State with 58 total tackles and a team-high 6.5 tackles for loss. 

4. TRE WALKER: Fourth-year linebacker Tre Walker continues to prove why he's one of the best in the Big Sky. Walker has tallied double-digit tackles six times this fall, including five of the last six. In the spring season, he led the conference with 13.5 tackles per game in his four outings and went on to earn five All-America honors. Walker was also a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given annually to the top defensive player in FCS. His preseason accolades got better, as he was named the Big Sky Conference Preseason MVP and has been a consistent First Team Preseason All-America selection. 

5. BREAKOUT GAME: Against UC Davis, Freshman running back Elisha Cummings notched 125 yards receiving on 15 carries, a season-high for any Vandal rusher. He had carries of 19 yards, 32 yards and 24 yards. Transfer receiver Terez Traynor racked up 131 yards on 10 catches. His catches included a 28-yard reception and a highlight sideline grab for a first down late in the game. Traynor grabbed hit the century mark again with 114 yards on five catches against Portland State and a career-high 167 yards and 12 catches against NAU.  

6. RECORD BREAKING DAY: Roshaun Johnson was named the Big Sky Player of the Week after scoring a school-record six touchdowns in the win against Southern Utah. He scored more touchdowns in a game than any player this season in Division I FCS or FBS. He also ran for  a career-high 174 yards on 30 carries.
