MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team (3-8) cruised past SAGU American Indian College, 84-55 on Saturday evening at ICCU Arena.
Four Vandals scored in double digits, including a team-high 16 points from
Mikey Dixon on 6-of-9 shooting.
Gabe Quinnett dropped 15 points with a career-high five threes.
Tanner Christensen recorded his third game in double figures with 12 points and eight boards while
Trevante Anderson added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Idaho shot 43.8 percent in the opening 20 minutes of action as the Vandals held a 39-31 advantage after the first half.
The Vandals came out of the locker room with a sense of urgency on the defensive end, holding the Warriors to 24 points on 28.1 percent shooting from the field to help earn the 84-55 victory. It was the lowest point total allowed by a Vandal team this season.
