THE VANDALS
Idaho closed out a tough non-conference schedule with two loses in Maui, dropping games to Oregon State (49-79) and Northern Iowa (64-75). The Vandals will look to bounce back as the reenter Big Sky play.
Louise Forsyth leads the team with 12.2 points a game.

Allison Kirby both average over seven rebounds per contest.
BREAKOUT GAMES
Freshman
Ashlyn Wallace and
Jordan Allred had great games in Hawaii. Wallace led the team in scoring against Oregon State with a career-high 16 points. She added career-highs in assists (four) and rebounds (three). Allred scored eight points in and five rebounds vs. OSU. The output earned the duo a spot in the starting lineup vs. Northern Iowa where Wallace once against scored in double figures (10 pts).
Allison Kirby had an impressive game against UNI leading the team in points (19), rebounds (9), steals, (4) and assists (2).Â
NORTHERN ARIZONA
The Lumberjacks are 5-5 on the season but tied for the lead atop the Big Sky Conference with a 2-0 record.Â
NAU will be making their first trip to Moscow since February 2020. NAU is averaging 75.3 points per game and is led by Khiarica Rasheed's 11 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Regan Schenck is averaging 6.4 assists per game. The Lumberjacks, as a team, are shooting 47.5 percent from the field, with six of their top seven scorers are all shooting over 50 percent.
POSTPONED
The Vandals were originally scheduled to host two games on the weekend but the January 1 game vs Portland State was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.Â

 The Vandals are approaching 700 wins as a program. The 2021-22 season is the 46th season of women's hoops at Idaho with an all-time record of 699-642 (.520 winning percentage)
