MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's soccer team travels to Portland to take on the Vikings in two matches this weekend. Idaho and PSU will first meet on Friday, March 19, before playing again on Sunday, March 21. Both games are set to kickoff at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE VIKINGS (0-2-0, 0-2-0 BSC): PSU opened the season with two matches at Eastern Washington, falling, 3-1, in both. Sienna Higinbotham and Arni Jensen have scored for the Vikings this year, with Enya Hernandez playing all 180 minutes in goal.
SCOUTING THE VANDALS (0-4-0, 0-2-0): Idaho opened the season with a pair of 3-0 losses to PAC-12 foes Oregon State and #19 Washington State. The team was then edged, 1-0, in a pair of games against Montana.
Myah Merino leads the Vandals with 13 shots on the year. Goalkeeper
Avrie Fox (0-4-0) has made nine saves and has a 1.95 GAA.
SERIES HISTORY: Idaho is 9-5-0 all-time against Portland State. The Vandals have won the last two meetings, including a 1-0 win to close the 2019 season.
LAST TIME OUT: Idaho fell in a pair of 1-0 games to Montana to open Big Sky Conference play. The Griz scored their lone goal in the fourth minute on Friday. Idaho outshot UM on Sunday, but neither team was able to breakthrough until the Griz scored in the 100th minute to earn the sweep.
NEXT UP: Following the two games with Portland State, the Vandals will host Sacramento State for a pair of games on March 26 and 28.
