MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho football stays at home to take on UC Davis in the Kibbie Dome at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 6. The game will be streamed live on PlutoTV, channel 1060, beginning at 11:45 a.m, as the 2021 Spring Season, presented by Famous Idaho Potatoes, continues.

ABOUT IDAHO: The Vandals (1-0, 1-0) enter the matchup ranked No. 19 in the nation according to STATS Perform. Last week, Idaho took down then-No. 12 Eastern Washington 28-21 to open the season.
Hayden Hatten stole the show in the final minute, catching a 25-yard touchdown from
Mike Beaudry to earn the win.

ABOUT UC DAVIS: The Aggies have yet to play this season after having their opening game against Cal Poly postponed due to COVID protocols. UC Davis is receiving votes in the STATS Perform FCS National Poll after finishing last season 5-7 overall, 3-5 in Big Sky play.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:
Tre Walker and
Cade Coffey were recognized on Sunday as the ROOT Sports Big Sky Conference Players of the Week on defense and special teams. Walker tied for the conference lead with 15 tackles in week one, including one sack. Coffey was called on to punt on seven occasions and averaged better than 50 yards per. Coffey wasn't done with the conference honors, he also earned STATS Perform FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week.

BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL: Tre Walker didn't just mix it up on defense. The junior linebacker also stepped in as a running back for the Vandals. He tied for the team-lead with 27 rushing yards, on just five attempts.

COMEBACK: Idaho trailed 14-0 early in the second quarter against Eastern Washington last Saturday but came back to win, 28-21. It was the first time since defeating San Jose State, 32-29, Nov. 5, 2011, that the Vandals overcame a two-touchdown deficit to start the game. San Jose State jumped out to a 20-0 advantage in that game, before the Vandals rallied to take the win.
