EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Idaho men's golf team sits in 14
th place after the conclusion of the first two rounds on Monday at the Duck Invitational with a team score of 618. Individually, graduate student
Sean Mullan leads the Vandals after carding a 149 in his first 36 holes.

David Nuhn. "Three freshmen in the lineup at the Eugene Country Club. Some big-time experience being gained by some Vandals this week and we are just thrilled to be back at it after a month off. Tomorrow we will be ready to compete every shot and have a great team round to finish this event. Looking forward to it!"

Mullan had the best first round for the vandals, firing two birdies and carding a 2-over in his opening round. Mullan finished his second round in a tie for 29
th with a two-round score of 7-over, 149.

Freshman
Jose Suryadinata sits just 2 strokes behind Mullan. After firing in a total of three birdies, Suryadinata sits in a tie for 44
th with a score of 9-over, 151 through 36 holes. Freshman
Matt McGann made his Vandals debut on Monday, carding a total score of 16-over, 158. McGann sits in a tie for 72
nd place with 18 holes left to play on Tuesday.

Joe Gustavel carded an 18-over, 160 on the day and holds the sole possession of 77
th. Also making their season debut for the Vandals is junior
Travis Hansen. Hansen carded a two-round score of 25-over, 167 and is currently in 83
rd.

Oregon sits in first place with a team score of 572. Individually, Spencer Tibbits from Oregon State and Hugo Townsend from Boise State are tied for first with a score of 137.
