EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Idaho men's golf team claims 14
th at the conclusion of the Duck Invitational on Tuesday. As a team, the Vandals finished with a team score of 931 through three rounds.

"Great learning opportunities for some young freshman on a really demanding golf course," said head coach
David Nuhn. "We are looking forward to next week and a completely different test at Chambers Bay, a links style course like Palouse Ridge. Now these guys can see what it takes on a course like this against nationally ranked teams."

Sean Mullan had the best third round for the Vandals, carding a 4-over, 75. After his final round, Mullan finished in a tie for 32
nd with a total score of 11-over, 213. Five strokes behind came freshman
Jose Suryadinata, who fired in two birdies on his final round. Surydinata finished in a tie for 53
rd with a total score of 16-over, 229.

Freshman
Joe Gustavel had his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, where he fired in two birdies on his front nine. Gustavel finished in a tie for 76
th with a three-round score of 25-over, 238. Two strokes behind is freshman
Matt McGann who placed in 78
th with a score of 27-over, 240. Junior
Travis Hansen carded a 36-over, 249 and finished in 82
nd.

Oregon State finished in first place with a team score of 860. Individually, Hugo Townsend from Boise State claimed first place with a score of 6-onder, 207.

The Vandals are back in action next week for the Redhawk Invitational on Monday, March 29.
