EL MACERO, Calif. – Freshman
Jose Suryadinata cracks the top-5 after leading the Vandals to a tie for 7
th place at the conclusion of the El Macero Classic. As a team the Vandals finished play at the El Macero Country Club with a team score of 4-over, 868.

David Nuhn. Â "Jose impresses again with a top 4 finish and Sean with a solid 17
th place. Really helped the team have a great event in lead up to conference in two weeks. I think the break time prior will be helpful to shore up a few little things that held us back today. Overall, we are peaking at the right time and carry a lot of confidence into the Big Sky conference Championship."

Suryadinata did not slow down after a 5-under second round score. In his final round, the freshman remained red hot, firing in four birdies and an eagle in his final 18 holes. Suryadinata recorded a four-under, 68 in his final round. Suryadinata finished in a tie for 4
th with a 5-under, 209.

Graduate student
Sean Mullan remained red hot in the third round, carding a 1-under, 71 in his last 18 holes. Mullan caught fire again on the back nine, tallying three of his four birdies in his final five holes. Mullan finished in 17
th place with a total score of 2-under, 214.

Junior Colt remained consistent with his previous two rounds, carding a 2-over, 74 in his final round at the El Macero Country Club. Sherrell finished in a tie for 39
th with a total score pf 5-over, 221. Junior
Jack Plaster carded a total score of 11-over, 227 and tied for 64

Joel Veenstra place in 77
th with a three-round score of 17-over, 233.

St. Mary's claimed first place with a team score of 16-under, 848. Individually, Matthew Sutherland won first place after carding a total score of 13-under, 203.

Next up for the Vandals is the Big Sky Championship on Sunday, April 25-27 at Boulder Creek in Boulder City, Nev.
