MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho women's tennis team will close out Big Sky play this weekend in Montana.
The Vandals will take on the Montana Griz on Friday, April 16, at 1 p.m. before facing the Montana State Bobcats on Sunday, April 18, at 10 a.m.

Idaho enters their second Big Sky match of the season in fourth place in the North division standings with an 0-2 record. The Vandals are 2-7 overall on the season.
Per the new format this season, only the top two teams in each division will advance to the Big Sky Championships.
Montana is 1-1 in league play and 2-7 overall. The Vikings sit at third in the North Division and are 3-0 at home this season.
Katherine Jhang leads the Vandals in singles wins this season with a 6-3 overall record. She ranks first in the Big Sky in No. 5 singles win percentage with a 2-0 record. In addition, Jhang is 4-2 in the No. 3 spot and 0-1 in the No. 4 spot. Her four wins in No. 3 singles is tied for the third most in the Big Sky.
Last week against Portland State Jhang earned her third consecutive win of the season, defeating Makoto Ohara, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 in No. 3 singles.
Melissa Huchet and
Marta Magalhaes are just behind Jhang with three singles wins each on the season.
Magalhaes and Huchet each earned wins over Portland State last week.
Huchet and
Laura Spataro lead the Vandals in doubles this season with a 4-4 record from the No. 1 spot. The duo fell to the Vikings last week, 6-2.
