MOSCOW, Idaho â Two Vandals took home Stats Perform FCS All-America honors, as announced on Monday. Junior linebacker
Tre Walker earned the first team nod, while senior punter
Cade Coffey took home second team honors.
Â
Walker earned All-Big Sky First Team honors in unanimous fashion last month after leading the conference with 13.5 tackles per game. He finished the shortened spring season with 54 tackles over just four games, including recording 13-plus tackles three times. It is Walker's second All-America honor of his career, after earning HERO Sports Sophomore All-America honors in 2019.
Â
Coffey earned the second team nod. He led the Big Sky in net punting at just under 44.0 yards per punt, the second best average in program history. He also finished second in the conference in punting average at 45.8 yards. In total, Coffey dropped 16-of-26 punts inside the opponent's 20.
Â
Walker was a finalist for the Stats Perform FCS Buck Buchanan Award, presented annually to the national defensive player of the year in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Coffey earned All-Big Sky Second Team recognition as a punter and honorable mention honors as a kicker. This is the third time that Coffey has earned All-America honors, after doing so as both a freshman and a sophomore.
Â
This is the first time since rejoining the Big Sky Conference that the Vandals placed multiple student-athletes on Stats Perform FCS All-America teams.
