MOSCOW, Idaho – This weekend begins graduation festivities for several Vandal student athletes who have earned a degree from the University of Idaho. Some graduates will begin journeys as professional athletes while others will begin different professional careers – some will even pursue master's degrees or return for another year of eligibility.
The class of 2021 features 38 graduating student athletes, representing all 16 sports. The class also features two cum laude graduates and two summa cum laude graduates.
"This last academic year has been like nothing anyone could imagine," said Associate Athletic Director for Support Services Krista Gray. "Our graduating student athletes have had to be more flexible, deal with more adversity, and handle more challenges, all while completing their education."
