Walker, Kendall Earn Preseason Nods

SPOKANE, Wash. – Idaho's Big Sky Football Kickoff representatives, Logan Kendall and Tre Walker, were both recognized by the league as Preseason All-Big Sky selections.

Both had outstanding spring seasons in 2021. Walker led the Big Sky with 13.5 tackles per game and earned five All-America honors along the way. Kendall was a force to be reckoned with as a fullback, and also caught a pair of touchdowns. Both enter their fourth years with Idaho in the fall.

Earlier this weekend Walker was named the Preseason Defensive Most Valuable Player. Both Walker and Kendall were unanimous All-Big Sky First Team selections in the spring.

The conference also announced the preseason polls. Idaho was picked eighth in both the coaches poll and the media poll.

The regular season kicks off on Sept. 4 against Simon Fraser. Season tickets for the full stadium are on sale now at GoVandals.com/Tickets or by calling the Vandal Ticket Office at (208) 885-6466.
