MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's soccer team look to remain undefeated as the team travels to Corvallis to play Oregon State University on Friday, August 27. The game is scheduled to kick off 3 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS (2-0): OSU has begun the 2021 season 2-0, with victories over Seattle (1-0) and Fresno State (2-1). The Beavers were 4-11-1 last spring with a 2-9 Pac-12 record. The team returned six starters from last season.
SCOUTING THE VANDALS (2-0): Idaho is 2-0 to start the season. The Vandals defeated North Dakota State University, 1-0, in the opener in Fargo before edging University of North Dakota, 1-0.
Margo Schoesler scored a penalty kick game winner against the Bison, while
Maddie Haas scored the goal in Grand Forks.
Avrie Fox (2-0) made six saves in 180 scoreless minutes.
SERIES HISTORY: Oregon State leads the all-time series, 7-0-1. Most recently, the Beavers defeated the Vandals, 3-1, in the opening game of the spring season.
BEST START: Idaho has begun the 2021 season 2-0 with wins over North Dakota State and the University of North Dakota.This is the first time the Vandals have started a season 2-0 since 2007. That year the team beat Gonzaga, 2-0, to open the season and then defeated Southern Utah, 2-0. The Vandals have never started a season 3-0. They were unbeaten in the first three games in 2003, tying NAU and Central Michigan before defeating Montana.
NEXT UP: Following the Vandals' trip to Corvallis, Idaho will return home to host CSU Bakersfield on September 3 at 7 p.m.
