MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's soccer team is set to host CSU Bakersfield for its home opener on Friday, September 3. The Vandals will look to make it two wins in a row over the Roadrunners, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.

SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS (0-2-1): CSUB opened the season with a 1-1 tie at Sacramento State before losing, 1-0, to both Azusa Pacific and Fresno State. The Runners did not have a season during the 2020-21 year but were 9-9-2 in 2019. Angelica Hurtado has scored the lone goal for the team this season, while Flavia Burrell has played all 290 minutes in goal, making 20 saves while allowing three goals.
SCOUTING THE VANDALS (2-1): Idaho began the season 2-0, with a pair of 1-0 wins over North Dakota State and University of North Dakota. Most recently, the Vandals fell, 2-1, to Oregon State in Corvallis.
Maddy Lasher scored the goal against the Beavers.
SERIES HISTORY: CSU Bakersfield leads the all-time series, 2-5-0. The teams last met in 2019, with Idaho winning, 1-0, in Bakersfield.
Maddie Haas scored the goal for the Vandals.
