SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Idaho cross country men finished 12th and the Vandal women finished 16th at the elite Dellinger Invitation hosted by the University of Oregon at the Pine Ridge Golf Club in Springfield, Oregon, Thursday.
Tim Stevens led the Vandal men with an 8K time of 24:24.0 to finish 63rd overall.
Shea Mattson was second for Idaho and 78th overall with a time of 24:34.6.
Michael McCausland finished 97th with a time of 24:54.5.
Lorenz Herrmann came across the line in 100th-place with a time of 24:56.5 and
Ben Shaw closed out the scoring with a time of 25:06.6 for 106th place.
Maya Kobylanski led Idaho with a 6K time of 21:20.5 for a 71st-place finish.
Katja Pattis was 78th with a time of 21:29.8,
Leah Holmgren was 86th with a time of 21:38.1,
Kelsey Swenson finished 90th with a time of 21:41.1 and
Nell Baker closed the scoring with a time of 21:53.3 for a 98th-place finish.
The Vandals are now off for three weeks before competing in the Inland Northwest Championship in Lewiston.
