MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Volleyball team returns back to Memorial Gym to begin their conference home schedule, when they host Portland State (Thursday, Sept. 30/6 p.m.) and Sacramento State (Saturday, Oct. 2/1 p.m.). Both matches will be streamed on ESPN Plus.Â
It will be the first matchup at home for the Vandals since late August when the team hosted the Idaho Volleyball Classic (Aug. 27-28).

Series Record
The Vandals hold a 9-18 all-time series record against the Vikings, most recently competing this past spring where the teams split after both going to five sets. Idaho has taken five out of six matchups against Portland State since 2018. In Saturday's matchup with the Hornets, the Vandals will try to even a 6-7 all-time series.
Last Time Out
The Vandals return home after falling to Northern Arizona (5-7) and Southern Utah (5-10) to open up Big Sky Conference play.
Nicole Ball and Delaney Nicoll combined for 36 kills between the two matches, while Alaina Lacey held it down on the defensive end with 31 digs.
Scouting The Opposition
The Vikings enter Thursday's match one game over .500 with a 7-6 record that included non-conference wins over Santa Clara, Grand Canyon, Gonzaga, and North Dakota State twice. Portland State opened Big Sky play over this past week with a victory over Idaho State and loss to Weber State.
Sacramento State went 5-5 during its non-conference slate, while wrapping up the opening week of conference play with losses to both Idaho State and Weber State.
Up Next -Â The Vandals will continue their homestand next week, as both Montana (Oct. 7/6 p.m.) and Montana State (Oct. 9/ 7 p.m.) make the trip to Moscow.
