ANNAPOLIS, Maryland – Beyonce Bea scored a season-high 34 points and added 13 rebounds for her 17th-career double-double as the Vandals outlasted Navy 90-84.
 
Idaho forced 19 turnovers and scored 27 points off of turnovers. The Vandals also outscored Navy 25-7 off the bench.
 
The game was a back-and-forth battle for most of the game The Vandals led 23-19 after one and 41-37 at halftime. Navy battled back and built a six-point 49-43 lead with 620 left in the third, but Idaho cut it to 59-57 at the end of the third.
 
They traded leads early in the fourth before and Ashlyn Wallace layup and free throw with 4:58 to play gave the Vandals the lead for good.
 
Bea was 5-5 from the field and 8-8 from the line in the fourth quarter for 18 of her 34 points.
 
The Vandals were 28-61 (45.9%) from the field and 9-29 (31%) from the three-point line. Idaho was also 25-32 (78.1%) from the free throw line.
 
The game closed out a weekend that saw the Vandals split after dropping an 80-49 game at Richmond.
 
Idaho is now 1-3 on the season while Navy falls to 0-7.
